Dear Treasa,
We have safely returned to Canada after an easy and uneventful flight last Thursday. I would like to take this opportunity to send you an additional ‘thank you’ for making our stay at Killiney House so wonderful.
Robert and I are regular travellers and we have had many stays at bed-and-breakfast facilities in various countries. I can honestly say that our four days at Killiney House were the most comfortable and most enjoyable of any we have stayed at. The beauty of the house and garden, its traditional, elegant look coupled with every modern convenience surpassed all our expectations.
The beds are large and comfortable, the bathroom gleaming and luxurious, plenty of hot water, lovely towels and linen. Your attention to detail included all the extra touches which make a holiday outstanding: chocolates on our pillow, tea and biscuits on the dresser, the slippers and robes in the closet – we felt like much-loved visitors in a family mansion.
The breakfasts were beautifully served on gleaming china and silver, everything was so excellent and plentiful. We enjoyed trying a different breakfast from your menu each day and all of it was delicious and appetizing.
You went even more beyond expectations by anticipating our every need, offering useful information about the locations we planned to visit, and providing maps and brochures.
We will always remember our stay with you and Les at Killiney House as one of the highlights of our visit to England. Thank you for everything.
Sending you our warmest greetings,
Marika and Robert Kemeny
